Ireland




We flew in last week and are mostly over the jet lag and getting into the Christmas season. So different over here, layering up with many many clothes



Chris is now able to drive one of the cars over here so after Christmas we might head off for a few days :) But as for now we're mostly hanging around with the family when they are not working and today I think we'll probably do some baking to get ready for christmas.

And luce...well she is just lovely :)



Faithful

Company

Being sick is such a pain; the fevers, chills, countless boxes of tissues, painkillers, juice, no voice, and separation from society in general. Its just not very fun.

However, in spite of all that, being sick at our house does have its upside, the company of these two rag tag crazy animals that I love so much.

The reception was at Sunset Blue, and the views out on the deck were gorgeous, we all mingled and ate yummy food and watched the sun go down.

I've never seen Melanie kiss a boy so much in her life!.....well scrap that, I've never seen Melanie ever kiss a boy before! Suffice to say that there was a lotta love in the air!

Wishing Melanie and Brett lots of love and joy as they start out their new life together. Right about now they'll be somewhere lovely in New Zealand...sooo jealous!





Seaside and Sunsets!




To celebrate our first anniversary we went up the coast, and it was the most relaxing weekend I have had in ages :)


On Saturday night we saw such a gorgeous sunset, even the locals walking past said they hadn't seen one like it in a long time, made me wish my photography skills were more up to scratch to fully capture it, but I ended up with a few pics I liked.



Of course what would an anniversary be without lots of yummy meals out and cocktails!



They were sooo good.

We had a lovely weekend away filled with love. Our marriage, just like life, may not be perfect but its reassuring to know that when all the other distractions and pressures of life are gone for a weekend that its still just me and him, still crazy in love :)
